What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpet Cleaning Technician position at Carpet Masters of Kansas?
We are currently hiring a Carpet Cleaning Technician to join our hardworking, customer-focused team. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality carpet, upholstery, and floor cleaning services to both residential and commercial clients. Experience is preferred, but not required. Just bring a great attitude and a willingness to learn!
Job Duties:
- Operate carpet cleaning equipment (portable and/or truck-mounted units).
- Clean carpets, rugs, upholstery, and occasionally tile or hardwood surfaces.
- Provide excellent customer service on every job.
- Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning products.
- Keep your vehicle and equipment clean and organized.
- Complete basic paperwork or mobile forms for each job.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be reliable and dependable.
2. Be professional and polite while maintaining a positive attitude, at all times.
3. Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
4. Drive safely and conscientiously while possessing a current driver's license.
5. Physically able to lift 50 lbs or more.
6. Perform necessary cleaning services for our clients that reflect our company's standards.
7. Authorized to work in the United States.
8. MUST be able to pass a background check to access Fort Riley.
9. MUST have a valid driver's license.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma
2. Experience is a plus but not required — we’ll train the right person!
