We are seeking an experienced trial attorney to join our litigation team and handle a robust caseload of personal injury matters from initial case evaluation through trial. The ideal candidate will possess strong courtroom skills, exceptional negotiation abilities, and a proven track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value cases while collaborating with a dedicated team of legal professionals committed to excellence in client advocacy.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and motions
- Conduct and prepare clients for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
- Argue motion and opposition hearings remotely and in Court
- Take and defend percipient and expert depositions
- Prepare pre-trial documents and trial materials
- Active participation in trial
- Strategically litigate cases by obtaining key evidence to work up case file
- Draft mediation briefs and attend mediation, active participation in negotiating settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel
The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $185,000.

Carpenter & Zuckerman offers employees a substantial benefits package inclusive of medical, dental vision and basic life insurance. The firm also a 401(k) plan which includes an employer match available after a vesting period. The firm offers ten (10) paid holidays and four (4) half day holidays. Employees have 80 hours of sick leave each calendar year and accrue vacation at a rate of 3.36 hours per pay-period.
