Responsibilities:
- Manage cases all phases of personal injury litigation, from case inception to resolution
- Argue motion and opposition hearings remotely and in Court
- Take and defend and depositions
- Active participation in trial at the State and Federal level
- Conduct legal research using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support case preparation
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Review and analyze medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness files
- Maintain case files and document management systems
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law
- Proficient in legal administrative tasks and procedures
- Strong research skills using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Ability to negotiate, write, and research effectively
- Familiarity with the litigation process and legal drafting
