SUPERVISOR - MAINTENANCE THE SUPERVISOR – MAINTENANCE WILL . . . Provide Maintenance employees with guidance, direction and supervision in support of departmental operations. Promptly address performance issues. Actively promote all company policies and expectations, especially in support of safety plans and results. Execute planned and scheduled maintenance operations within assigned area of responsibility. Maintain a positive work environment by regularly communicating with employees on the shop floor and responding to employee issues and concerns in a timely manner. Maintain well-organized and productive work areas. Work with others to achieve department and company goals and objectives. Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business support, technical or production team. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors. Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned. REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SUPERVISOR – MAINTENANCE Minimum two years supervisory experience in a manufacturing/maintenance environment. High School Diploma required. Two-year college degree preferred. Demonstrated leadership ability; sets high expectations for performance. Innovative problem-solving skills, including motivation to discover "Win-Win" outcomes whenever possible. Good business judgment and decision-making skills. Direct, candid and mature interpersonal skills. Trustworthy and able to influence others. Willingness to offer a dissenting opinion before final decisions are reached. Assertiveness in support of safety and operational requirements. Ability to successfully coordinate internal and external resources. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks. Disciplined results orientation. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Good business writing skills. Flexibility in terms of shift assignments and/or rotations. Ability to work extensive hours in support of continuous operations.
