1 Outside Sales Representative

Carpenter & Paterson, Inc. is currently looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Regional Sales Representative to help grow our presence throughout the Southeast, covering a multi-state territory from Louisiana to Georgia. In this role, you'll partner with distributors, contractors, engineers, and end users to deliver innovative pipe support solutions for critical infrastructure and industrial projects.

Essential Duties:

• Build and strengthen relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new business opportunities throughout the territory.
• Respond to customer inquiries and prepare timely, accurate quotations.
• Conduct business development calls, customer presentations, and follow-up activities to drive sales growth.
• Collaborate with builders, contractors, and project teams to ensure optimal product selection and placement.
• Identify and develop opportunities within distribution channels, end-user accounts, and large industrial and infrastructure projects.
• Provide product training and education to customers and end users.
• Serve as a technical resource by answering product and application-related questions.
• Travel throughout the territory to meet with customers and support project needs, including overnight travel as needed.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer applications and uncover new opportunities for existing products.
• Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
• Contribute to other initiatives and projects as needed.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in sales related to pipe hangers, engineered pipe supports, industrial construction, wastewater projects, infrastructure, or other construction-related industries is preferred.
• A team-oriented mindset and commitment to collaboration and customer success.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a sales territory strategically and effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Days/Shift:

• Monday thru Friday 8:00-5:00pm
