Job Duties:
- Provides assistance with mobility, transferring, walking, grooming, bathing, dressing, or undressing, eating and toileting
- Assists with the safe use of a walker or wheelchair as taught and supervised by the nurse or physical therapist for a specific patient
- Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients by observing infection control practices, following our guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to your supervisor
- Reports any change in the patient's mental or physical condition or home situation to the Registered Nurse and members of the interdisciplinary team
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 18 years old
- Completed High School or earned Equivalency Diploma
- Current CNA certification in the State of Mississippi
- Minimum of six (6) months' work experience in a direct care setting
- CPR Certified
- Have dependable transportation, current driver's license, and auto insurance
