Certified Medical Assistant - Psychiatry (Facility, In-Home, & Telehealth) Baton Rouge, LA

What You Bring:
- Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, especially psychiatry (inpatient or outpatient) strongly preferred
- Dependability, professionalism, and strong customer service skills
- Exceptional multitasking ability and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience with scheduling-- preferred
- Interpretting and utilizing excel -- preferred
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with psychiatric healthcare staff to support patient care
- Maintain accurate records in our EMR system
- Travel to patients' homes, long-term care, or post-acute care facilities within a 50 mile radius
- Record vitals, document medication lists, update medical history
- Schedule NP Psychiatry visits , including: Telehealth and In-Person Visits
- Perform various clinical and administrative support tasks as needed
