Job Summary
Join our construction team as an Excavation Laborer. In this role, you will assist with site preparation to ensure smooth, on time project progress. Your will contribute to preparing residential sites for new homes, and will develop your expertise in construction operations. Your dedication to safety, efficiency, and teamwork will help us deliver quality results on every project. We are a southeastern Massachusetts based company, looking for a full-time (40 hour/week) laborer with overtime available, as well as opportunities for advancement. Willing to train the right person.
Duties
- Operate compactor, run grade rod
- Assist with construction utility work including sewer & water tie-ins as well as installing drainage systems
- Follow all federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe work environment
- Support construction grading activities, site cleanup, and material handling to keep projects on schedule
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to start work on time every day
- Must have good work ethic and be reliable
- Ability to work well with others
- Must be able to work legally in Massachusetts
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
