Shift Lead - Launch Our New Port Richey Location (Part Time)

A brand-new Carousel's Icery location is opening inside the Walmart in New Port Richey!

While we offer some incredible soft serve delights, our products are only as good as our ability to deliver on our promise. Position Summary (Purpose)

Works at the location serving up fun, fellowship, smiles, and refreshment with every swirl of our family-secret recipe. You will be the face of the brand for those who visit your location. We are looking for energetic and engaging team members to train and equip to become the next generation’s business leaders. We want candidates with a flexible schedule, an awesome attitude, a big love of people, Carousel’s delicious products and a desire to learn the job & work hard. Operating Hours: 6:30 AM–8:00 PM most days

We are looking for multiple team members with a variety of availability to help provide coverage throughout our operating hours.

Team Member Responsibilities:

• Generate sales and serve guests, providing the world-class guest service for which Carousel’s is known for
• Engage guests walking by the store and hand out samples of our one-of-a-kind soft serve ice
• Entice people to stop, try the sample, and purchase the product
• Be a purpose driven brand ambassador who not only embodies the spirit of the brand, but actively works to create and maintain the brand culture
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy store environment by following sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations
• Stock supplies and be prepare for guests
• Tasks related to opening/closing the store, while working alone.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Essential Skills:

• Provide consistent, world class service to every single guest
• Ability to be trained on operational systems and equipment maintenance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Once trained, able to execute all appropriate and necessary software and communication vehicles

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and some holidays
• Be familiar with (and be able to articulate to customers) what distinguishes Carousel’s Soft Serve Ice from other frozen desserts, and be able to articulate that to the 500th customer with the same care and presence as the 1st customer
• Have the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
• Be reliable, on time, and motivated to create memorable guest experiences during every shift
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Salary/Hourly Rate:

Starting at $15.00 an hour plus tips

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
