Job Overview
Are you an experienced dealership Parts Counterperson who knows vehicles inside and out, talks the talk with technicians, and delivers top tier service to retail customers? If so we want you on our team. We are looking for skilled detail oriented Parts Counterperson for our fast paced parts counter. In this role you will be the backbone of our service department and the face of our retail parts operation, ensuring everyone gets the exact components they need efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Look up, locate, and order precise automotive parts for technicians, retail customers, and wholesale accounts
Utilize dealership DMS and electronic parts catalogs (EPC) to maintain accurate inventory tracking
Answer phone inquiries promptly, providing quotes and checking availability for wholesale and retail clients.
Receive, unpack, and stock incoming shipments while keeping the parts department organized, and clean.
Assist with regular inventory audits and cycle counts to minimize discrepancies.
Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of dealership parts counter experience is strictly required
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair processes
- Familiarity with dealership DMS platforms CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds, Dealer Track. and electronic parts catalogs,
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and order fulfillment processes.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages are a plus; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases.
- Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships through effective client communication and personalized service.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel for inventory tracking and reporting purposes.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
