Job Summary
Anyone traveling more than 60 miles one way to Holy Cross is eligible for a travel stipend of $60 per day.
Under minimal supervision, performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. May be multi-credentialed in the area of sonography

Holy Cross Hospital is a cornerstone of Nogales, providing emergency care, general surgery, labor and delivery services and important health and wellness education for residents across Santa Cruz County. This 25-bed, critical-access hospital has been a part of Carondelet Health Network since the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet began managing the hospital in the early 1980s. - Produces high quality diagnostic sonographs as prescribed by a licensed practitioner
- Assists with amnio procedure biopsies
- Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period
- Processes and files films as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum Requirements
- Experience:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Sonography
- Certifications: Must be registered within 24 months of graduation(and 12 months of hire); BLS
- Preferred Requirements
- Experience: 1-3 years
- Education: Associates degree
- Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT(S )
