The Trauma Program Manager (RN) provides leadership and oversight of the trauma program, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while driving quality improvement, patient outcomes, and program growth within a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center.
Responsibilities for Internal Candidates
- Lead and coordinate trauma program operations and strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ACS and state trauma designation standards
- Oversee trauma registry, data analysis, and performance improvement programs
- Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor quality metrics, outcomes, and regulatory readiness
- Facilitate trauma committees, education, and staff development
- Support survey readiness, accreditation, and community outreach
Qualifications for Internal Candidates
- Minimum Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN)
- Experience:
- 3 years’ related experience in emergency or trauma nursing; minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of team building, systems thinking, complex problem solving, negotiating and influencing; change and conflict management; data analysis; coaching and mentoring, strategic planning, business strategy development.
- Computer skills required.
- Licensure/Certifications: Current Arizona RN License or ability to obtain. Current TNCC
- Preferred Requirements:
- Experience: 5 years’ related experience; 3 years supervisory experience
- Master’s in Nursing-MSN
o Prior trauma program leadership/coordination experience preferred
o Knowledge of ACS standards and trauma registry processes
o Preferred certifications: TCRN, CEN, CCRN
Pay: $95,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
