Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparations for study participants, ensuring smooth and efficient logistics.
- Conducting accurate and meticulous data entry to maintain comprehensive research records.
- Programming and managing data using REDCap software to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Conducting thorough and systematic literature reviews to inform research methodologies and findings.
- Supporting research staff in recruitment efforts and study activities while adhering to Institutional Review Board (IRB) regulations, providing valuable assistance under supervision.
- Fulfilling additional responsibilities as delegated by supervisor, and contributing to the overall success of research initiatives.
Requirements:
1. Currently enrolled in an accredited educational institution.
2. Registered and/or currently taking a practicum and/or internship course.
3. Reliable transportation means for commuting to and from our Wernersville campus.
4. Commit to the duration of the internship program and fulfill the required hours as outlined by the affiliation agreement between the organization and university.
5. Be available to complete your internship hours during operational hours which are Monday through Friday from 8A-4:30P.
Education, Knowledge, & Skill Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data effectively.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as SPSS, R, or MATLAB is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data entry, analysis, and report preparation.
- Familiarity with programming languages may be beneficial for data analysis tasks.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and findings clearly and concisely.
