What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instrument Technician I position at CaroMont Health?
Job Summary: Performs all functions related to sterile processing and surgical case cart processing in accordance with established standards. These functions include, but are not limited to, decontamination, surgical instrument processing, sterlization, surgical case cart assembly and medical equipment cleaning/disinfection.
Qualifications: High School diploma. Work related experience helpful, but not required. Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers. Ability to follow written instructions, use computers and other mechanical equipment.
