What are the responsibilities and job description for the In House Counsel position at CaroMont Health?
Job Summary: Assists the Vice President, Chief Legal Officer; the Associate General Counsel, Director of Legal Operations; and Corporate Counsel(s) in addressing the full range of legal issues arising day to day, including regulatory and reimbursement issues; fraud and abuse issues; contracting; risk management; patient relations; medical staff issues; corporate transactions and governance; real estate; intellectual property; and labor and employment issues. Performs legal and factual research necessary to provide legal advice and direction to internal clients, and for the drafting and analyzing of various contracts, policies and other documents. Works cooperatively with CaroMont Health attorneys and business leaders. Provides governance support as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned.
