Responsibilities
- Assemble UTV components using hand tools, schematics, and assembly instructions to ensure precise construction.
- Conduct thorough quality control and quality assurance inspections throughout the manufacturing process to identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Utilize surface mount technology techniques for electronic component placement and soldering on circuit boards.
- Perform mechanical inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Apply non-destructive testing methods to evaluate welds, structural integrity, and material properties in accordance with ASME codes & standards.
- Collect data during manufacturing processes for analysis, process improvement, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and assembly procedures to support quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience with surface mount technology (SMT), soldering, and electronic component assembly.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in manufacturing processes and use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, calipers, and micrometers.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures, quality assurance standards, and industry regulations including ASME codes & standards.
- Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions accurately.
- Experience with non-destructive testing techniques for structural assessments.
- Excellent analysis skills to troubleshoot issues efficiently and implement effective solutions.
- Basic understanding of data collection methods for process monitoring and reporting purposes.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
