CAGC is a 100-year-old trade association based in Charlotte, NC and the largest construction industry association serving both North and South Carolina. We are seeking a Business Systems & Database Specialist to own and support our Association Management System (AMS) and related business platforms.
This is a full-time role ideal for a systems-minded professional who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and smooth day-to-day operations across teams. You will work closely with Membership, Accounting, Events, and Leadership, without being embedded in any one department.
In this role, you will:
• Be the internal expert and owner of CAGC’s core business systems
• Design reports that leadership and staff rely on for decision-making
• Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and well-governed
• Support major system implementations and improvements
• Help staff use systems confidently and correctly
We are looking for someone who:
• Enjoys working with technology and learning new systems
• Has a strong eye for detail and data accuracy
• Can explain system concepts to non-technical users
• Is organized, dependable, and self-directed
• Takes pride in being a trusted internal resource
Required Qualifications
• Familiarity with relational database structures and backend application integration
• Experience as a primary or advanced user of an AMS, CRM, or similar system
• Strong understanding of data integrity and applied data governance
• Experience creating reports for non-technical users
• Ability to translate business needs into system configuration
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a trade association or membership-based organization
• Prior involvement in a system implementation or migration
• Familiarity with accounting, event, or learning systems
• Experience documenting workflows and procedures
Salary Range
Salary Range: Up to $75,000
