The Detailer / Modeler is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate 3D models and coordinated construction drawings using Autodesk Revit. This role supports the design, coordination, and installation efforts by translating design intent and field input into detailed, buildable models. The Detailer works closely with project managers, engineers, prefab teams, and field supervisors to ensure that models and drawings reflect current project conditions and contribute to efficient installation and prefabrication.

- Develop, update, and maintain detailed 3D Revit models for electrical and/or MEP systems.
- Produce coordinated shop drawings, installation drawings, and prefab spool sheets.
- Collaborate with VDC, prefab, and field teams to ensure accuracy, constructability, and alignment with project standards.
- Participate in coordination meetings and clash detection reviews (e.g., Navisworks, ACC).
- Incorporate markups, field redlines, and design revisions into the model.
- Maintain model organization, naming conventions, and project file standards.
- Support prefabrication by generating detailed assemblies and quantity takeoffs.
- Assist in implementing BIM standards, templates, and best practices across projects.
- Coordinate model data with other trades to minimize field conflicts and rework.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (minimum 2 years' experience in modeling MEP or electrical systems).
- Understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and field installation methods.
- Experience with BIM coordination tools (Navisworks, ACC, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow project standards.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across departments.
- Experience in electrical construction or MEP coordination.
- Knowledge of prefab workflows and material assemblies.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or Trimble tools.
- Associate degree or certificate in Drafting, Construction Technology, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving and spatial reasoning abilities.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects.
