What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight ER/ICU Veterinary Technician or Assistant position at Carolina Veterinary Critical Care?

What You’ll Be Doing
- Monitoring ICU and hospitalized patients overnight
- Administering medications and treatments
- Assisting with emergency stabilization and procedures including surgery
- Running in-house diagnostics and bloodwork
- Placing catheters, drawing blood, and supporting critical patients
- Communicating patient updates to the overseeing doctor, coworkers and owners
- Maintaining patient charts and records appropriately while capturing charges
- Balancing outpatient care as well as inpatient care during overnight shifts
- Sharing general housekeeping protocol responsibilities with coworkers
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Has veterinary technician* experience (ER or ICU preferred)
- Stays calm and focused in emergency situations
- Enjoys hands-on patient care and monitoring
- Is reliable, motivated, and team-oriented

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
