Emergency medicine is hard. We know that.
We are building a team culture that protects the people doing the work just as much as the patients we care for. We're looking for an experienced ER/ICU Veterinary Technician who values teamwork, communication, high-quality medicine, and working in an environment where technicians are respected and supported.
This is a fast-paced emergency setting, but not one where you're expected to sacrifice your mental health, carry the entire hospital on your shoulders or feel unheard by your managers or doctors.
You'd Be a Great Fit If:
- You're the person people trust when a patient starts crashing.
- You like medicine that makes you think.
- You want to be part of building something, not just clocking into another clinic.
- You're not looking for easy, you're looking for better.
- You stay calm under pressure.
- You care deeply about patient advocacy.
- You believe teamwork matters in high-stress environments.
- You want a workplace where your experience and voice are respected.
- You have previous ER, ICU or specialty experience
- You have veterinary technician experience
Your Responsibilities:
- ER triage and patient stabilization
- ICU monitoring and nursing care
- Anesthesia support and procedural assistance
- Accurate treatment execution and documentation
- Collaboration with doctors and support staff to provide exceptional patient care
- Client communication and education
- Administering medications and performing treatments
What Makes This Different:
- Technicians are utilized fully and trusted.
- Team-focused environment with collaborative doctors.
- Strong communication and emotional support during difficult cases.
- We value kindness just as much as skill.
- We actively build systems that make the job better over time - not just for today, but for the team that's growing with us.
- We value collaboration over hierarchy; everyone's voice matters in patient care and team improvement.
Schedule & Benefits:
- Full time and part time opportunities available
- 3-day work week options available (overnight shifts)
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Shift differentials for overnights
- CE allowance and growth opportunities
- Supportive leadership with ~10 years of technician level experince that value work-life balance
- Mental/Physical Health monthly reimbursement
- 401K matching after 6 months of employment
- Employee discount on medications, products, services
- Paid time off after 90-day probationary period
We know veterinary medicine can be emotionally exhausting. We're looking for people who still love this field and want to work somewhere that helps them keep loving it. We're not just filling a role - we're building a team for the future of this hospital. Our goal is long-term sustainability, trust and a culture that actually lasts, not something that burns bright and burns out.
If you want to practice high-level medicine with a team that genuinely supports each other, work in a clinic where you can grow with the team, help shape how we practice, and be a part of building something sustainable in emergency medicine, we'd love to meet you.
