Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled part time Pool/Hot Tub Cleaning Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of residential swimming pools. This role requires a blend of mechanical learning ability and hands-on learning alongside a manager with pool equipment, ensuring that all pools are safe, clean, and functioning optimally.
Duties
- Perform regular pool and spa cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming debris, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
- Inspect and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feeders to ensure proper operation.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for maintenance tasks.
- Conduct water quality tests and adjust chemical levels as necessary to maintain safe swimming conditions.
- Recognize mechanical issues and report to the manager.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with clients about their pool maintenance and recommendations.
- Utilizing our mobile software to maintain accurate records of services performed on each pool to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely.
- Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and equipment functions is a plus but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in maintaining pool chemistry and systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and provide exceptional service.
- Valid driver's license required for use of company vehicle between job sites.
