Job summary: Seeking an experienced Floor Technician Supervisor to join our operations project team on 1st shift weekends. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a skilled floor care specialist who has proven supervisory experience. You will lead a team of floor technicians across commercial and industrial clients and uphold our commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Wage - $18.00 per hour upon Directors approval based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Perform and supervise all floor care services including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, carpet cleaning, scrubbing of hard surface floors (VCT, LVT, terrazzo, marble, wood, etc.).
- Train, mentor, and supervise a team of floor technicians, assigning daily tasks and ensuring work is completed efficiently and to company standards.
- Floor projects can include nights, and weekend work as required by client needs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through professional communication and proactive problem-solving.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on floor care equipment.
- Complete required time sheets accurately and on time.
- Assist with general cleaning tasks when necessary to meet project deadlines.
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional floor care experience.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or lead experience in a janitorial, or cleaning services environment.
- Strong knowledge of floor care chemicals, equipment operation, and restoration techniques.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (company vehicle may be utilized).
- Ability to pass background check
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift (up to 50lbs), and operate heavy equipment for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends based on client schedules.
