Position: Home Care Scheduler
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of the Home Care Coordinator RN, the Scheduler maintains staffing schedule for Home Care, including assignment sheets, master schedule, and PAL requests. Obtains information from participants as directed by the Home Care RN or Physician. Participates in Home Care meetings and overall planning related to Home Care. Accepts other duties as assigned by the Home Care Coordinator RN and within the CNA scope of practice.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and or ability required.
Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up to date immunizations before having direct participant contact.
Must have valid driver's license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation. Must be able to meet Carolina Senior Care's auto insurance carrier's standards for coverage.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Some college or business school is strongly preferred.
Experience: Successful completion of CNA program with current certification and required in-services. Minimum age of 18 years or older is required for this position due to Department of Labor regulations. Minimum of one year working with the frail or elderly. Two years clerical or business experience preferably in a health care environment is preferred. Experience with a personal computer, various software applications, email, and copier. CPR and First Aid Certification required.
