What are the responsibilities and job description for the Floral Administrator position at Carolina's Luxury Event Rentals & Florals?
Position Overview
CLUXE is seeking a Floral & Design Sales Coordinator to bring both administrative expertise and a touch of luxury salesmanship to our Floral Department. This role is ideal for someone with floral design experience who enjoys organization, proposals, and client support — but who also thrives in a client-facing, luxury environment.
You’ll ensure proposals are accurate, profitable, and beautifully packaged to reflect the CLUXE standard, while supporting our creative team by freeing them from admin. This role is key to helping CLUXE grow our floral division beyond events into high-end subscriptions, holiday installs, and private client services.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and edit floral proposals and visuals in Curate/Canva with Event Designers.
- Enter floral recipes, stem counts, and costs in Curate → apply profit margins consistently.
- Attend client meetings (with Event Designers) as a floral support voice, providing input and professionalism.
- Handle contracts, revisions, vendor communication, and procurement lists.
- Maintain floral inventory records and assist with budget/profit tracking.
- Represent CLUXE’s luxury brand image in all communications.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous floral design or event floral experience (required).
- Some sales or client-facing experience, ideally in events, florals, or luxury services.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with systems/paperwork.
- Tech-savvy: Curate (preferred), Canva, Microsoft 365, QuickBooks (basic).
- Professional presence with a refined, luxury air — confident in meetings and polished in communication.
- Balances creativity with efficiency — loves design but also cares about profitability.
