What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Operations position at Carolina's Luxury Event Rentals & Florals?
The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on operational leader to streamline processes, optimize warehouse and inventory systems, and ensure flawless client delivery. This role partners directly with our CEO to build structure and scalability, freeing her to focus on vision, brand, and growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead daily operations for rentals, florals, print, and design divisions
- Manage warehouse, logistics, and inventory accuracy
- Build and implement SOPs, KPIs, and dashboards to track performance
- Partner with the CFO on profitability, pricing, and resource planning
- Lead and develop the operations and warehouse teams
- Ensure smooth execution for luxury, high-touch events
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of operations leadership (hospitality, events, or luxury services preferred)
- Strong experience with systems, processes, and ERP/rental software (Point of Rentals a plus)
- Proven track record of improving efficiency and profitability
- Calm, steady leader with strong communication skills
- Thrives in fast-paced, creative environments
