About the Role
Carolina QuickCare is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our urgent care clinics in the Fayetteville area. You can apply for a single fixed clinic, or for a regional float role covering multiple clinics within about an hour of Fayetteville for a higher rate plus mileage. Our fixed openings right now are in Fayetteville, Hope Mills, and Elizabethtown. Tell us which setup you want when you apply.
Pay and Schedule
- $60 to $75 per hour, based on experience and credentials
- Single fixed clinic in the $60 to $70 range, regional float up to $75 plus mileage
- Productivity incentives above base pay
- Time-and-a-half for hours worked over 40 per week
- 3 shifts per week
- No on-call
- Rotating weekends with schedules published in advance
- Flexible scheduling through our online platform
What You Will Do
- Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries in a walk-in urgent care setting
- Perform procedures including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, and DOT physicals
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and point-of-care lab studies
- Prescribe medications and educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care
- Complete all documentation same-day in the Experity EMR
- Collaborate with the on-site clinical and administrative team
Qualifications
Required:
- Licensed FNP-C or PA-C in North Carolina, or eligible for NC licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- 2 years of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience
- DOT Medical Examiner certification, or willingness to obtain within 6 weeks of start
Preferred:
- DOT Medical Examiner certification already active
- Comfort working autonomously as the sole provider on-site
