About the Role

We are seeking a Peer Support Professional Supervisor full-time to provide the following: 

  • Provide services based on the principles of wellness self-management, personal recovery, natural supports, coping skills, and self-advocacy skills, and development of independent living skills for housing, employment, and full community inclusion.
  • Assist clients with self-determination and decision-making.
  • Teach functional skills (managing meds, finances, health care, resources, daily living, etc).
  • Model recovery values, attitudes, beliefs, and personal action to encourage wellness.
  • Teach and promote self-advocacy and empower clients to use their legal rights.
  • Assist the consumer with development, modification and use of the crisis plan, advanced directives, and provide relapse prevention support.
  • Supports the consumer to maintain stable housing, improve housing situation, and enhance independent living skills.

Compensation

This role is compensated on a salaried basis, providing consistent earnings aligned with the responsibilities and expectations of the position.

  • Compensation: $48,780 $62,639

Placement within the range is based on licensure level, education, and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with care teams as needed
  • Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards
  • Participate in supervision (if applicable based on licensure level)
     
Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a human service field and 1 year of full-time, post-graduate degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional who has one year of full-time, postgraduate degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling; Or 
  • Bachelor's degree in a human service field and 2 years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional who has two years of full-time, post bachelor's degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling; Or
  • Bachelor's degree in a field other than human services and 4 years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional who has four years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling
  • A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Strong clinical knowledge of the treatment/service needs of the clients served
  • Skills in assessing strengths and needs, treatment plan development, and clinical service implementation
