About the Role
We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Therapist to join our team full-time. This role is essential to our mission, providing therapy, crisis support, and service coordination for mental health clients in a variety of settings. As a Licensed Therapist with Carolina Outreach, you will lead assessments, design therapeutic interventions, and collaborate closely with a team to deliver responsive, person-centered care that empowers clients to achieve their mental health and independent living goals.
We are seeking a Full-time Licensed Outpatient Therapist to provide individual and family therapy to clients aged three years and older. In this role, you will collaborate with clients and their families or natural supports to assess strengths and needs, develop treatment plans, and deliver tailored therapy services. Clinical Assessments:
- Conduct initial Comprehensive Clinical Assessments to determine diagnoses and treatment needs.
- Recommend appropriate treatment modalities and evidence-based practices.

Therapeutic Interventions:
- Provide individual and family therapy services directly, or facilitate referrals as necessary.
- Collaborate with clients and their families to assess strengths, identify needs, and set treatment goals.
- Assist families with planning, developing, and implementing treatment and ancillary services.

Documentation and Review:
- Maintain accurate and timely records, including service notes, treatment plans, and assessment tools.
- Regularly review and assess treatment progress to ensure goals are being met.

Compensation
This role is compensated on a variable rate model, designed to reward productivity while providing consistent earning opportunity through established referral volume.
- Compensation: $54,373 - $73,494
Placement within the range is based on licensure level, education, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with care teams as needed
- Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards
- Participate in supervision (if applicable based on licensure level)
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensure: Must hold a current mental health license in North Carolina (e.g., LCSW/A, LCMHC/A).
- Preferred Skills: Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required.
