We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Community Support Team - Substance Use Specialist to join our team full-time. This role is essential to our mission, providing therapy, crisis support, and service coordination for mental health clients in a variety of settings. As a Community Support Team - Substance Use Specialist with Carolina Outreach, you will conduct assessments and provide community-based therapy and case management to adults. May conduct initial assessments for clients with severe Substance Use Disorder symptoms and connect them with a higher level of care such as residential care, SAIOP, or SACOT services.

Compensation: This position is compensated using a piece rate model, where pay is based on the Relative Value Units (RVUs) assigned to each billable service. Each clinical service (e.g., individual therapy, group therapy, assessments) is assigned a specific RVU value, and your total compensation is determined by the number and type of services you deliver.

Estimated income ranges:

  • Associate Licensed: $36 - $37.50
  • Fully Licensed: $39.00 - $40.50

The ranges above are estimates based on productivity. Under this compensation model there is unlimited earning potential!

Position Description:

  • Assessment and reassessment of the client’s need for services;
  • Informing the client about benefits, community resources, and services;
  • Assisting the client in accessing benefits and services;
  • Arranging for the client to receive benefits and services; and monitoring the provision of services.
  • LCAS or LCASA
  • Dually licensed is preferred but not required
  • PCP Experienced is Preferred
  • Must have a Valid drivers license
