Job Overview

Carolina Lumper Service (CLS) is seeking dependable and hardworking team members to assist with warehouse unloading, freight sorting, pallet building, and inventory support projects at a logistics facility in Rock Hill, SC.

This is a physically active position that involves unloading floor-loaded trailers and containers, sorting freight, building pallets, wrapping pallets, and staging freight for warehouse processing. Team members must be able to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Current work is available with additional opportunities based on customer volume and seasonal demand.

Responsibilities

• Unload floor-loaded trailers and containers.
• Sort freight to designated pallet locations.
• Build and organize pallets for shipment or storage.
• Stack freight safely and securely on pallets.
• Wrap completed pallets for staging.
• Move pallets using pallet jacks.
• Verify freight is placed in the correct location.
• Assist with inventory and warehouse support projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures.
  
  

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 20-50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work throughout the shift.
• Ability to stack freight onto pallets up to 7 feet high.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, unloading, moving, construction, or general labor experience preferred.
• Pallet jack experience is helpful but not required.

• Typical start times range from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM depending on project requirements.
• No warehouse experience required.
• Training provided.
