What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping & Showroom Coordinator position at Carolina K?
We are seeking an hourly full-time Shipping & Showroom Coordinator to help optimize the transportation and delivery of orders, from procurement to final delivery, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and assist with various showroom duties. This person will coordinate with various departments, suppliers, and shipping carriers to facilitate the smooth flow of goods.
Responsibilities
- Daily packs and ships online and wholesale orders and provides customer service related to shipping and tracking
- Creating domestic & international shipping labels and all necessary documents
- Handling shipping and tracking wholesale orders, including selecting carriers and managing transportation routes, tariffs & duties
- Overseas with production department shipment of all production
- Receives production and communicates any discrepancies to factories and production team
- Help count online & boutique order when production arrives, putting inventory into respective boxes
- Identifies and resolves issues that may arise during the logistics process, i.e. reaching out to shipping carriers, filing claim, and negotiating shipping rates with sales reps. & freight forwarders
- Assists with packing for trunk shows and pop-up shop locations
- Monitors inventory levels with regular counts, and handles transfers between both locations in Miami
- Handles store showroom, including but not limited to merchandizing, steaming and pricing
- Assists in the planning of events, photoshoots, and other special projects
- Put together donations reports monthly
- Purchases and tracks office supplies
- Assists with our retail store sales as needed
- Supports CEO and all team members with general needs, like taking samples to seamstress & dry cleaners, picking up minutemen orders, etc.
Qualifications
- Located in Miami (No remote option)
- Needs to be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- 1-2 years of experience in administrative support
- Experience in shipping is a MUST, or any other familiarity with logistics software and systems
- Spanish speaking is a PLUS
