What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Floor & Laundry Tech. at Assisted Living Facility position at Carolina Inn at Village Green?
The Carolina Inn at Village Green is seeking a part time floor technician and laundry technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our community's floors, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents and guests, as well as handling laundry duties.
Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Strip and wax floors as needed
- Clean and sanitize carpets
- Move furniture and equipment as necessary
- Monitor and report any necessary repairs or replacements
- Formulates washing formula for stained loads and all other laundry products processed through the laundry area.
- Sorts dirty linen by product type.
- Ensures the washing of linen is up to standard before placing into inventory.
- Cleans linens according to department procedures and cleaning schedules
- Washes and dries linens
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in floor maintenance preferred
- Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Previous experience in commercial laundering preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
Shift:
Full-time position | 8:00am to 4:00pm | Weekend and Holiday availability required
