Home Medical Equipment Technician:
The HME Technician is responsible for delivery and education in the use of home medical equipment to clients/patients of the patients.
Reporting Relationship:
Branch Manager
Detailed Responsibilities:
1. Scheduling pickups, deliveries, services
2. Assisting walk-in traffic
3. Monitoring inventory (ordering and restocking)
4. Keeping showroom and workspace clean
5. Manage warehouse orders
6. Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions
7. Instructing patients on proper usage of equipment
8. Weekly Vehicle Inspection/log updated
9. DME train
10. Oxygen Set-up/Delivery
11. Monthly On-call check and document
12. Fire Extinguisher signed off on monthly
13. Enteral Log Updated
14. Answer phones
15. Bank Deposit
16. Schedule monthly PVR’s
17. Cleaning and tagging equipment
18. Testing and maintenance of equipment
19. Maintenance service record
20. Prepping warehouse returns
21. Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities
22. Perform other duties as assigned by your Branch Manager
23. Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies
Minimum Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for the past three years.
3. Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
4. One year of home medical equipment experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
