Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Certified Medical Assistant role located in Rock Hill and Lancaster, SC. The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for supporting healthcare providers with clinical and administrative tasks. Specific duties include preparing examination rooms, assisting with patient examinations and procedures, performing basic diagnostic tests, and documenting patient information. Additional responsibilities include scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, managing communication with patients, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Clinical skills such as taking vital signs, administering medications, drawing blood, and assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology, patient documentation, and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong organizational and administrative skills, including appointment scheduling and medical record management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and medical staff
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program is required
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
• Basic CPR and first aid certification
• Experience in a cardiology or specialized medical setting is a plus
• 1 year of working as an MA required
