Job Summary
Hutchco Home and Bath is looking for a dependable, hardworking Bathroom Installer Helper / Apprentice to join our installation team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in learning the home improvement and bathroom remodeling trade while working alongside experienced installers.
No extensive bathroom remodeling experience is required. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, shows up on time, works hard, and takes pride in doing quality work.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead installers with bathroom remodeling projects
- Help with demolition and removal of existing bathroom materials
- Assist with installation of tubs, showers, wall systems, fixtures, and related products
- Load, unload, and organize tools and materials
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe
- Protect customers' homes and property while work is being completed
- Learn proper installation techniques from experienced installers
- Follow company procedures and safety requirements
- Assist with cleanup and disposal of job-site materials
- Perform other installation-related duties as needed
Qualifications
- Construction, remodeling, carpentry, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to learn the bathroom remodeling trade
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Able to perform physical work, including lifting and carrying materials
- Able to work well with a team and follow instructions
- Professional and respectful when working in customers' homes
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Reliable transportation to work
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who wants more than just a temporary labor job. The right candidate will have the opportunity to learn a skilled trade, gain hands-on remodeling experience, and grow into a more advanced installer position as their skills develop.
Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: In person / Customer job sites
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 70.0 per week
