Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor areas looking their best
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for planting, trimming, and other landscaping tasks
- Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering of plants and turf
- Conduct gardening activities such as planting new greenery, mulching beds, and caring for flowers and shrubs
Requirements
- Prior experience with landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is valued
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, landscape maintenance techniques, lawn care practices, and gardening fundamentals
- Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and other landscaping equipment safely
- Familiarity with hand tools used in gardening and landscaping projects
- Basic understanding of horticulture principles to support plant health and landscape design efforts
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of groundskeeping
