We’re a rapidly growing podiatry practice looking for a reliable and dedicated Patient Services Specialist to join our team in Hickory and Morganton. If you take pride in being dependable, showing up consistently, and helping keep a busy office running smoothly, we’d love to meet you!
As the first impression of Carolina Foot & Ankle Associates, you’ll play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming experience for every patient. You’ll serve as the vital link between the front desk and clinical team, ensuring consistent and timely patient flow.
What You’ll Do:
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Opening and closing the clinic
- Warmly greeting and checking in patients
- Verifying insurance and updating patient demographics
- Ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed
- Entering medical updates into the EMR
- Answering phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
- Scheduling appointments
- Checking out patients, posting charges, and collecting copays, coinsurance, and deductibles
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of medical office experience (required)
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Strong computer skills with excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, busy environment
- Professional, positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Highly reliable and dependable — someone who consistently shows up and takes pride in their work
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive demeanor
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a big plus!
Important Details:
We have two locations — Hickory and Morganton. The ability to work at either office is required. We always do our best to accommodate staff location preferences whenever possible.

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
