Job Overview
The Sales Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the sales team and managing customer accounts for our generator products and services. This individual will coordinate sales activities, maintain customer communications, manage order processing, and ensure efficient execution of the sales cycle. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational skills, technical understanding of power systems, and a customer-first attitude.
Responsibilities
Set Crew Scheduling and Dispatching:
- Plan and coordinate generator installation projects by scheduling installation crews, subcontractors, and required resources based on project scope, timelines, crew availability, and geographic location.
- Ensure installation teams are assigned to projects with clear project scopes, installation plans, required materials, and equipment specifications.
- Monitor installation schedules and adjust timelines as needed to maintain project progress and meet completion deadlines.
- Coordinate installation logistics and respond to scheduling changes due to permitting, material availability, weather, or unforeseen site conditions.
- Track installation progress throughout each phase of the project to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
Communication and Coordination:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the sales team, installation crews, subcontractors, and customers throughout the installation process.
- Provide clear and timely communication regarding project timelines, installation expectations, and required site preparations.
- Keep customers informed on project status, including scheduling updates, permitting progress, material delivery timelines, and installation milestones.
- Coordinate closely with the internal sales department to ensure seamless project execution.
Customer Service:
- Respond to customer inquiries related to installation scheduling, project timelines, and installation progress.
- Ensure installation teams understand customer expectations, site requirements, and any special considerations prior to project start.
- Address and resolve installation concerns or project challenges promptly while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Proactively manage high-priority project issues with urgency and professionalism, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate project records including installation schedules, equipment orders, crew assignments, and completion documentation.
- Track project milestones and update internal systems with project status and completion updates.
- Ensure all project documentation, including permits, inspection approvals, and closeout paperwork, is completed and properly filed.

- Assist with preparing proposals, quotes, and contracts
- Maintain and update customer and sales data in CRM system
- Coordinate communication between sales, operations, and customers
- Support onboarding of new customers and manage documentation
- Follow up with clients on quotes, proposals, and order status
- Assist with planning trade shows, events, and sales meetings

Carolina Energy Systems has 2 locations. One is located in Penrose, North Carolina and the other in Greenville, South Carolina. This job is located at the Penrose office although there could be travel to both locations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
