Position Title: Accounts Payable/Book Keeper
Location: Greensboro NC
Employment Type: Contract 1099
Reports To: President
Position Overview
The Accounts Administrator is responsible for providing day-to-day financial and administrative support to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely processing of financials. Key role is creating invoices, keeping track of vendor invoices, making payments, payroll, and coordinating with external accounting agency to ensure book is being kept. Prospective employee will also require creating monthly profit loss statements, detail accounting report as directed by the president. I am looking for someone who is driven and flexible.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, expense reports, and payment requests.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Apply payments and maintain accurate AR records.
Financial Administration
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Support bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and petty cash tracking.
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly financial reports, summaries, and spreadsheets.
Administrative Support
- Support creating material quotes on as needed basis
- Assist with vendor onboarding and maintain vendor records.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
Skills & Competencies:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of payroll processing or HR administration
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
