Lead Dental Assistant

Locally owned and operated general dental practice in a flourishing downtown location of Columbia. We pride ourselves in building long term relationships with our patients by providing them with quality dental care in a trusting environment.

Our team is looking for a highly motivated, skilled and professional chairside dental assistant to add to our established team!

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Assist in patient care-general dental procedures, taking radiographs, impressions etc.
• Operatory set up and clean up.
• Documentation and Notation in patient’s digital charts.
• Preparation and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Communication and ordering from suppliers and laboratories.
• Cross Training to help in the office with front office tasks and assisting hygienists if needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Certified DAII or DA I from an ADA accredited dental assisting program; DA I applicants must have minimum 4 full years working experience to be considered.
• Meets Dental Board Radiography Requirements.
• Current CPR certification -Nitrous oxide certified, or experience with Nitrous Oxide.
  
  

This a full time position with the following schedule: 8:30am-4pm, M-TH, 12-1pm lunch hour.
