Carolina Custom Finishing is a plastics, fiberglass, and metal coating and finishing company serving automotive, industrial, and consumer product manufacturers. We're a trusted Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier, known for quality work and dependable people. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Production Painter to join our team.
About the Role
As a Production Painter, you'll apply coatings to customer parts using spray equipment in a production environment. This role supports a variety of industries. This is a hands-on job that rewards attention to detail, consistency, and pride in your work.
What You'll Do
- Apply paint and coatings to parts according to work instructions and quality standards
- Set up and maintain spray equipment for consistent, high-quality finishes
- Inspect finished parts for defects and make adjustments as needed
- Sand, Buff, and other duties as needed
- Follow safety procedures and proper use of PPE
- Keep your work area clean and organized
- Communicate with your team lead and quality staff on any issues
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of production or spray painting experience preferred — but we will train the right person
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to stand, bend, and work with your hands for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled shop environment (temperatures vary with the seasons)
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Looking for a long-term role with room to grow your skills
