This is a full-time, on-site position for a CDL Class A Driver in Raleigh, NC. The primary responsibility is local transport of storage containers using a tiltbed truck to ensure safe and efficient delivery. The role includes coordinating with dispatch for delivery schedules, conducting detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensuring compliance with all DOT regulations. Drivers will also ensure proper loading, unloading, and securing of containers, provide excellent customer service at delivery sites, and communicate effectively regarding any issues or delays.
- Valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving record
- Experience in operating tiltbed trucks and hauling heavy-duty containers
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety practices
- Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Customer service skills to provide a positive experience during deliveries
- Good communication and organizational skills to coordinate with dispatch and manage schedules
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with local trucking or transport services is a plus
- Familiarity with the Raleigh, NC area and surrounding regions is preferred
