Carolina Containers & Transport is a locally owned shipping container company serving Raleigh, the Triangle, and surrounding communities. We provide container sales, rentals, and custom modifications for contractors, businesses, and residential customers. Our team is known for being responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with.
As demand continues to grow, we’re adding an Inside Sales Associate to support incoming inquiries and help expand our customer base.
The Role
This position blends customer-facing sales support with proactive outreach. You’ll handle inbound calls and emails, assist customers with selecting the right container solutions, and actively follow up on opportunities to move deals forward.

Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound phone calls, emails, and walk-in customer inquiries
- Educate customers on container sizes, uses, pricing, and availability
- Build and send quotes and assist with order progression
- Follow up on leads and past customers to drive additional business
- Perform outbound outreach to prospective customers
- Keep customer and sales activity information organized and up to date
- Work closely with the operations team to coordinate deliveries and pickups
- Assist with general sales and customer support tasks as needed

Preferred Background
- Experience in sales, inside sales, or customer service
- Exposure to outbound calling or lead follow-up
- Familiarity with Google Workspace or similar tools
- Experience with QuickBooks or CRM systems is a plus, but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $24–$28, based on experience
