Duties
- Clean carpet, tile, wood floors and upholstery.
- Perform thorough cleaning of properties impacted by fire, water, mold, or other damage using specialized cleaning techniques and equipment
- Assist with fire restoration efforts by removing soot, smoke residues, and odors to restore surfaces and contents
- Conduct water damage restoration tasks such as water extraction, drying, and dehumidification to prevent further damage
- Execute mold remediation procedures safely and effectively to eliminate mold growth and prevent recurrence
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction skills to remove damaged materials and prepare spaces for repairs
- Carry out carpet cleaning using industry-standard methods to restore flooring to pre-damage condition.
- Follow all safety guidelines and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while delivering exceptional service to clients
Experience
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of fire restoration, water damage repair, mold remediation enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and cleaning equipment is essential but not necessary.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to hazardous materials and environmental hazards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding situations
