Duties
- Perform detailed patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to establish accurate diagnoses.
- Prescribe medications and treatment regimens in accordance with state laws and collaborative practice agreements, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and DEA regulations.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties including Cardiology, sleep medicine, Primary care and obesity medicine.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, Prognocis and Athenahealth for documentation, order entry, and patient data management.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance service delivery and patient safety standards. Candidate will get excellent opportunity to learn different aspects of patient management in the field of cardiology, sleep medicine, primary care and obesity medicine.
