Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable and experienced Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the operations and customer service, ensuring that all diagnostic evaluations and patient care processes are executed efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of sleep medicine, along with excellent organizational skills to manage various tasks effectively.
Duties
- Oversee patient scheduling for sleep studies and follow-up appointments.
- Constantly monitor sleep and CPAP schedules to ensure they are full
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plans.
- Ensure processes are being followed to ensure approval for testing.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and protocols within the sleep center.
- Support the development of educational materials for patients regarding sleep disorders and treatment options.
- Educating patients on the use of CPAP machines or other therapies.
- Following up with patients to monitor their progress and address any concerns.
- Troubleshooting issues related to sleep studies or treatment protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience with sleep medicine practices is highly desirable.
- Coordinator or supervisory experience required, minimum 2 years.
- Understanding of respiratory therapy principles is a plus.
- Strong grasp of medical terminology relevant to the field.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
