What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Lead position at CAROLINA ASTHMA AND ALLERGY CENTER?
General Summary: A non-exempt position responsible for providing clinical support for clinical operations.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Primary connection to site managers when not in office.
- Ensures safe and efficient patient care and to ensure compliance with practice parameters.
- Collaborates with all clinical staff to create, implement, and facilitate policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with all clinical staff to ensure operational efficiencies.
- Assists with training of new hires.
- Provides clinical support in all areas of clinical operations.
- Responsible for ensuring that all outstanding signed/executed IVR orders are sent to and received by vaccine production.
- Responsible for ensuring data share import is processed no later than one business day prior to the patient appointment.
- Maintains/assists established par levels of equipment/supplies. Submits inventory requests to Site Manager in a timely manner.
- Complies with all quality assurance policies and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations related to safety, cleanliness, and infection control.
- Utilizes work time wisely and efficiently by completing clinical tasks, assisting with triage tasks, calling patients for lab and/or radiology results, completing the prior authorization paperwork needed for medication approvals, assisting team members, cleaning, organizing, stocking, and putting supplies away and preparing the office to run efficiently.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education: RMA/CMA/CCMA certification, RN or LPN. Current BLS Certificate.
Experience: Minimum one year of clinical experience.
Other Requirements: State-licensed RN or LPN. National RMA/CMA/CCMA certification. Must possess a current CPR certification and current health records with the appropriate immunizations to work in the health care field (hepatitis B and tuberculosis).
