Carolina Ascent FC and Charlotte Independence are seeking a motivated and organized Sponsorship Intern to support the Corporate Partnerships team. This role provides hands-on experience in sponsorship prospecting, research, account service, and game day operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with sponsorship prospecting and research
- Support account service and fulfillment for corporate partners
- Help prepare sponsorship proposals, presentations, and recap materials
- Support game day sponsorship execution, including setup, sponsor relations, and pre-game/halftime run of show
- Maintain organized tracking documents and partnership materials
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing matchday activations, community events, and special club programs.
- Support event logistics, including setup and breakdown, vendor coordination, and on-site operations.
- Work cross-functionally with various departments to ensure event needs and brand standards are met.
- Provide day-of-event support to staff, volunteers, and interns to ensure a smooth fan experience.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Interest in sports marketing and sponsorship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
