Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and mechanical repairs. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC equipment while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, and repair HVAC units and systems.
• Troubleshoot HVAC issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Conduct field service calls to diagnose and resolve customer issues.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with other technicians on complex projects involving plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields.
• Familiarity with HVAC design principles and construction practices.
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Experience in appliance repair, property maintenance, or mechanical work is advantageous.
• Proficiency in welding techniques relevant to HVAC installations.
