Position Overview
The Bagger/Fabric Packer is responsible for placing all cut fabric orders into plastic bags, ensuring each roll is labeled with the correct work ticket. This role supports production by maintaining accuracy, quality, and efficiency in a warehouse setting.
What you'll do
- Read and interpret work tickets to ensure accuracy.
- Place fabric rolls in plastic bags and securely seals them.
- Meet quality and production standards consistently.
- Regular attendance is essential.
- The role operates within a warehouse environment.
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to seven hours or more per shift.
- Ability to complete various tasks that may involve lifting or carrying in all directions.
- Occasional pushing/pulling of carts and buggies.
- Occasionally moving between tasks or workstations.
- Frequent operation of bag clipping equipment.
- Repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and fingers.
- All other duties as assigned
Who you are
- High school graduate
- General knowledge of fabrics
- Successfully pass color blind test
- Accuracy names, numbers and spelling
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Capable of lifting on a continuous basis
- Strong attention to details
- Follow written and verbal instructions
